Don’t think, “What if I’m wrong?”
Think, “What if I’m right!”
Dear Parents and Carers
As you are aware in these unprecedented times we as a Federation are working hard to support our children, parents and local residents.
It’s really important that while we are doing this vital work, we do not lose sight of those who may be at risk or who are vulnerable in our local communities.
Social distancing, the anxiety of health concerns and the economic pressure some families may experience mean that there may be increased stress for many at this time.
Therefore we would like to share this important message from Kersten England – Chief Executive of Bradford Council
If you know families who may be struggling, or where someone may be at risk, please can we ask that you take time to check up on them? If you think there is a concern about a child or young person or vulnerable adult, please refer it in the usual way through our contact points, which are all still open.
Visit www.saferbradford.co.uk and click on ‘report a concern’.

BEING A GOOD NEIGHBOUR – IMPORTANT ADVICE ABOUT CHECKING IN ON FAMILIES IN YOUR COMMUNITY
Please note when checking in on your neighbours it is important that you observe social distancing rules. Check-ins could be, a quick phone call, talking to them through a window or from a 2-metre distance over a garden fence. Remember to keep safe.

We would also like to remind parents and carers that they can speak to a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in school for support or advice if they are concerned about a child or family.
