Pupil Premium at Glenaire Primary
Our aim at Glenaire Primary is to narrow the gap in attainment and educational opportunity between those children attracting pupil premium funding and their peers.
The Pupil Premium is an allocation of additional funding provided to schools to support specific groups of children who are vulnerable to possible underachievement. These include pupils who are or have been entitled to free school meals within the last six years, those looked after by the local authority and children of armed services personnel.
Schools receives £1,320 for each child registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years from Reception to Year 6.
It is for schools to decide how the Pupil Premium is spent, since they are best placed to assess what additional provision should be made for the individual pupils within their responsibility.
All schools are required to report on the amount of funding received, how this is being used, and the impact of any work done.
Allocation Financial Year 2020-21; £106,855
See our reports below for more details.
Please note, statutory assessments were suspended for the academic year 2019-20 due to the Covid 19 situation.
