Good morning! Happy Tuesday. Here are your tasks for today.

maths day 2

Your second task is to design a new playground for Glenaire. Draw a basic map of what the playground looks like now and then add whatever equipment you would like.

My class dojo is now working properly, so I look forward to seeing your designs later on.

Have a great day!

Good morning Year 6 and welcome to another week. I hope you have had a lovely weekend.

Please follow the link below for your maths task for the day.

maths day 1

Your second task is to find something to hide in the house, design your own treasure map and get another family member to follow your map to find the treasure.

Have a great day. Stay safe.

Morning Year 6, I hope you are all well!

Your first task today is to write a letter to Tom asking him about all his experiences. Don’t forget your writing targets!

Your second challenge for today is to choose 10 spellings from your word list and make up a rap to learn them (just like we did in class.)

Have a great day and stay safe. Seeing as you have worked so hard this week, I will give you two days off πŸ˜‰

Speak to you on Monday……have a fabulous weekend.

Morning and welcome to another beautiful day.

I have two tasks for you today, one learning related and one a bit of fun!

Parents- each week I will alternate between English based tasks and maths based tasks as the children should also be completing a page from each of their revision guides where possible.

Today’s tasks are:

  1. Imagine you are interviewing Tom after he has come back from his journey around the world. Write the script that would go with it.
  2. Design your own Where’s Wally poster and challenge a member of your family to find him!

Have a lovely day year 6. Stay in your own home and garden where possible, stay safe and be kind.

Good morning Year 6! It looks like it is going to be another lovely day, so make sure you spend some time out in the garden getting some fresh air.

I want to say well done to everyone, you make me proud every day, but especially in this current situation. πŸ™‚ You really are working hard.

Your task for today is to design a postcard (including a picture) that Tom might have sent to his mum as he biked around the world. As usual, take a picture of it and post it on Class Dojo.

Stay safe and stay at home!

Miss Coles

Good morning Year 6!

I hope you are all well and staying inside!

Your class task for today is to write a description of someone in your family, without mentioning their name. You then need to read it to your family and they need to guess who it is.

Take a picture and post it on Class Dojo.

Stay safe and have a good day! πŸ™‚

Good afternoon Year 6!

Thank you for all those children and parents who have signed up to Class Dojo and sent me messages. It is great to see so many of you taking charge of your own learning and accessing the pack I gave you.

I have been in school today, so your daily task is slightly later than planned.

I would like you to read part of your favourite book and write me a review of it. Tell me why it is your favourite, who you would recommend it to and why.

Please remember to continue with the daily tasks in the learning pack too.

See you tomorrow! Stay safe!

Year 6 have just embarked on a citizenship programme. Today we had visitors who all had a disability. We learnt all about prejudice and discrimination and some of us had a go at sign language.

To link in with our topic of World War 2, we made Ration Cake. We learnt all about rationing and how important it was not to waste any food.

Our cakes turned out to be beautiful!
