 The uniform requirements for boys and girls are listed below.

School uniform

Reception to Year 5
Bottle green sweatshirt, knitted jumper or cardigan with or without the school logo

White polo shirt

Grey trousers/skirt/pinafore

Grey socks for boys, grey/white socks or grey/bottle green tights for girls

Plain black, flat shoes

Year 6
Year 6 pupils wear a slightly different uniform to show their status as role-models for younger pupils.

Green v-necked sweatshirt with or without the school logo

White shirt or blouse

Glenaire school tie

Grey trousers/skirt/pinafore

Grey socks for boys, grey/white socks or grey/bottle green tights for girls

Plain black, flat shoes

 

SUMMER UNIFORM  (optional)

Grey tailored shorts/Green checked summer dress

PE Uniform

Reception and Key Stage 1 Key Stage 2
Indoor PE

Plain black shorts

White t-shirt

Black pumps/plain black or white trainers

Indoor kit should be brought to school in a named drawstring bag, left in school and taken home for washing at the end of each half-term.

Outdoor PE

(children come in their PE Uniform on this day)

Plain black jogging trousers

Please note that for safety reasons we ask all children with long hair to tie their hair back during PE and games lessons and when using some specialist equipment in science, art, food technology etc.

Hair should be neat and tidy, any hair accessories such as clips, slides, beads etc should be kept to a minimum. Hairstyles should be appropriately smart.

Jewellery and make up (including nail varnish) should not be worn in school. Stud earrings can be worn but earrings that dangle from the ear and facial piercings are not allowed due to Health and Safety issues. Children may wear an ordinary watch when they are able to tell the time but responsibility for its safe-keeping belongs to them, and the school will not be held responsible for any losses.
