You will have a spellings test and a times table test at the end of the week for your parents to send me the results on Friday. It is really important that you practise these everyday as they are key knowledge for Year 3.

Here are your tasks for today.

English – Use today to finish the rest of your story. This is where you find a solution to a problem. Will your story have a happy ending or a dramatic ending? If you have already finished, why not have an edit and check through?

Art – Why not have a go at producing your own piece of sunflowers artwork like Vincent Van Gogh? 

Once all your work is complete the weekend can start. There won’t be any work set next week as it will be half term week and we can all have a well deserved relax.

Good morning everybody! Hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend, however you spent it.

I have a little crafty task for you today.

Here are some instructions for how to make a toilet roll chick. If you don’t have yellow paint maybe you could colour it in instead, or wrap around some yellow paper? Once you have made one, perhaps you could try to write your own instructions for somebody else to follow to make one?

Today’s activity is to go on an easter egg hunt.
You will need to make your eggs first. Cut out and design as many eggs as you need out of paper or cardboard, hide them around your house and garden and then make a map for your family to follow to find the eggs.
